Welcome to the Provincial Grand Court of Kent, which was constituted on Thursday 7th December 2006 at the Franklin rooms, Gillingham, along with its first Court – the Court of St. Justus No.13. Since then, it has grown to seven Courts, the most recent being the Court of King Stephen No.140, spanning across the county. The Province encompasses the Kent County boundary with meeting places from Wilmington in the West to Dover in the East.

The Province is presided over by the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Alan Cook and assisted by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW Bro Andrew John Mahoney.

The supreme governing body of the Order is the Grand Court of the Masonic Order of Athelstan in England, Wales and its Provinces Overseas, the motto of the Order is “Honor Virtutis Praemium”, translated as “Honour is the reward for virtue”. Grand Court claims the authority to confer the degree of Court Master Mason, together with the installation ceremony of an Eminent Prior and Worshipful Master.
